After you've chosen two events, the timeline will be updated to show the timespans.
You can add your personal events (e.g. the day of your birth) that will be stored locally in your browser and not shared with anyone.
If you add an event as a suggestion, it will be submitted to be included in the global database of events.
The dates chosen for some events may be approximate when a precise dating is not possible. Supporting one dating hypothesis against others is beyond the scope of this app. We suggest to read the Wikipedia article (using the button) to learn more about each event, person or object.

Sharing on Facebook or Twitter shows some images connected to the selected events. I've used public domain pictures wherever possible, and I don't claim any rights on the remaining ones, whose copyright still belongs to their authors/licensees. The images are used in very low resolution, only for educational and noncommercial purposes.
